I’ve overcome so much! With limited mobility after becoming a quadriplegic due to a car accident at age 20 I went back to school, finished and received my BBA in Marketing. My positive attitude and unshakable faith has taken me near and far. I’ve traveled to different places to speak, be with family and continue to enjoy my life. I am a peer mentor at my former rehabilitation center and will share my story to anyone in hopes to inspire. I don’t call myself a hero but I have a deep desire to encourage others. I feel that with a new van less stress will be upon my family and I will finally be able to learn how to drive. I will be more independent and will overcome yet another hurdle that I can share.
